Vintage 1990

Another vintage of quality in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The year saw a succession of climatic phases alternating rain, sun, heat and mistral (wind) at the most propitious moments for the production of a harvest modest in quantity but exceptional in quality.

Rather early throughout the year due to a dry and mild winter, the vines blossomed to produce a perfect harvest from 10 September onwards.

Fleshy berries with thick skin have produced wines highly concentrated in aromas and flavours. We will find powerful and racy tannins on the reds and roundness, breadth and intense aromas on the palate on the whites.

All these qualities guarantee a vintage of great age, which will convince the most demanding tasters.
