Châteauneuf-du-Pape has once again produced a vintage of great ageing potential and quality. The year saw a succession of climatic phases alternating between rain, sunshine, heat and the mistral wind, at times that were most favourable to the production of a harvest that was modest in quantity but exceptional in quality.

Rather early throughout the year, thanks to a dry, mild winter, the vines flourished, producing a perfect harvest from 10 September onwards.

The fleshy, thick-skinned berries produced wines with highly concentrated aromas and flavours. The reds have powerful, racy tannins, while the whites have roundness, fullness and intense flavours on the palate. 

All these qualities guarantee a vintage with great ageing potential, which will convince even the most demanding tasters.
