Our wine-tasting cellar is at the heart of the estate in the family home, situated on the road to Roquemaure. You will first discover a breathtaking view of the whole terroir of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, running southbound to Avignon, the Luberon and the Alpilles mountains along the Rhône River. Then you’ll face the XVIII th century family home with the underground barrel cellars, where the wines you are going to taste quietly age to give the best of the Chateauneuf-du-Pape and of the winemaker’s know-how.
The wine-tasting cellar has been fitted out in the XVIII th century family home, right in the middle of the estate’s vineyards.
The area has been designed to provide you a cosy and homey feeling with light, space and soft colouring : everything is here for you to live an unforgettable experience of tasting Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines.
From the tasting lounge you have a direct view on our underground barrel cellars. Dug in the rock, those caves house almost 250 oak barrels. Some are as old as the house.
During your visit you will understand - and taste - the essential part taken by the oak barrel aging on our red wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and sometimes also on our white wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
If there’s a god-blessed wine, it is indeed this wine of Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Through a tasting of different bottles and vintages, we offer you to discover a wide range of taste and aromatic sensations.
The red wines of Chateauneuf-du-Pape are powerful, intense in colour with red berry and spice aroma. The white wines of Chateauneuf-du-Pape are well-balanced, all built on aromatic freshness and floral nuances.
During your visit, on the panoramic terrace you can admire the largest rolled pebble ever discovered in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, 502 kg and almost 240 million years old.
